The mission of our FARM to FORK Dinners is to reconnect people to the true source of their food, to increase community awareness about the importance of supporting local & sustainable producers, to provide diners with an exceptional culinary experience, and to create new & sustainable income streams for local farmers and wineries.
Farmers & Winemakers are our heroes! And as such, our FARM to FORK Dinners take place on the farms that sustain the food on your plate or the wine in your glass, and each evening begins with a Farm Tour led by the farmers who cultivate that land and work tirelessly each day to provide local communities with good, clean and fair food.
Our Menus are inspired by the season’s harvest and prepared by local chefs, making each FARM to FORK Dinner a unique opportunity to experience both the peak flavor of local ingredients, and the skill of local culinary artists. This year we excited to work with Braden Hitt of Smithfields Restaurant, Michael Hite of C Street Bistro, David Padberg of Park Kitchen, Bill Heubel of The Jacksonville Inn, Jason French of Nedd Ludd, Troy MacLarty, Jon Moch of Celilo Restaurant, and Neil Clooney of Smithfields Restaurant.
To sum it all up, the genesis of FARM to FORK Events lies in the steadfast dedication to re-connect guests to local farmers and winemakers, to create new and sustainable income streams for these folks, to make significant capital contributions to Oregon’s local food economy, and to demonstrate to our local communities the vital importance of preserving our communal birthright – farmland.
